Soren Drastrup (b. 1989, Denmark) is an artist, photographer and casting-director residing in Copenhagen.
He graduated from Ostkreuzschule fΓΌr Fotografie in Berlin, Germany in 2018.
For his final project, he created the series, "It's not you, it's me." showcasing images of friends, lovers and acquaintances photographed over a three year period in Berlin.
Soren's work mixes the genres of portrait, fashion and documentary, and is often characterized by its authenticity, intimacy and fragility.
During his career, he's worked in Copenhagen, Berlin, Paris, Rome, New York and Los Angeles.
His work has been exhibited internationally, with solo-exhibitions inΒ Paris, Berlin and Copenhagen, as well as group exhibitions in Berlin, Hamburg, Moscow, Bratislava and Guangzhou.
Alongside his photographic career, he has been a scout for several modelling-agencies and has worked as a casting-director in the fashion industry.
He is drawn to non-traditional faces, aiming to showcase beauty that is diverse and inclusive.
