Soren Drastrup is a photographer and casting director currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He graduated from Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin in 2018 with It’s Not You, It’s Me, a portrait series made over three years and centred around friends, lovers, and acquaintances.
His photographic practice moves between portraiture, fashion, and documentary photography. Across both personal and commissioned work, he is interested in creating images that show authenticity, intimacy, and emotional vulnerability.
Alongside photography, Soren works as a casting director across fashion, film, and advertising. His approach to casting is rooted in an interest in individuality, diversity and inclusion. Drawn to non-traditional faces and strong characters, he seeks to highlight a vision of beauty that is deeply human.
Over the past decade, he has worked internationally across commercial commissions and independent projects.
He is available for photography, casting direction, and creative collaborations worldwide.
